I'm gonna go in depth with my experience. Long-ish story incoming. We got hit by a tornado during Hurricane Milton and it did a lot of damage. First phone call I made was to the insurance company (obviously) and the 2nd was to Dean from Choice Roofing. Him and Scott were the most helpful and the most prompt people I've ever done business with. We run an air conditioning company so we do a lot of business in the area and it seems like no matter who you deal with these days it's always a bad experience. But not with these guys. Literally hours after the tornado hit Dean came over with nails and tarps (didn't even charge me) and helped me tarp the roof to stop water damage. And I'm sure like everyone else he was hunkered down during the storm but he came anyway. Like... personal vehicle, wife in the car, nails and tarps in the back seat. So right off the bat that's just the type of human decency you don't see anymore. Fast forward to the actual work ... Just going off memory I think within a week after getting the funds from my insurance company the new roof was completely done. But the actual work like the physical labor took TWO DAYS. Not exaggerating at all. They dropped off the dumpster on a Monday morning and had the roof ripped off, sealed and passed their first inspection by the end of the day Monday. Tuesday they dropped off all the metal which they pre measured on day 1. Wednesday the roof was finished and final inspection was passed. And my favorite part about the whole experience ... I'm in a construction trade. I know damn well there's gonna be nails and screws everywhere after a roof gets put on. I walked around with a roller magnet after they left and picked up 2 screws. AND THEY WERE AIR CONDITIONG SCREWS THAT I DROPPED 🤣🤣🤣 Now as a side note about me... I don't play around. So my wife and kids were still in the closet hiding and I was already on the phone with the insurance company assessing the damage and getting the ball rolling on the claim. So my actions obviously contributed to the speed in which we were made whole again. But the storm hit October 9th. Roof was done and I paid them on November 19th. They also hooked me up with a fence company which were also great and fast. Done deal. I'm writing this on April 11th of the next calender year. Our neighbors across the street are finally having their roof put on and it's almost done but I feel like it's been over a week of banging all day starting at 7am. Trucks all over the street. Etc etc. We are SIX MONTHS removed from the storm and most of our neighbors aren't done yet. I 100% recommend this company. Dean and Scott are the most professional, down to earth, real people out there. At the end of the day if you say to yourself "I need a roof" and you just pick a company at random youre gonna get a roof put on and more than likely it's gonna be done correctly considering it gets inspected by the building department. Dean was very knowledgeable and professional. My fan was installed 2 days later. Installer was excellent. Took pictures along the way and showed them to me.
